Within DERMADROP, the Meddrop BMT merges two entirely independent disciplines: innovative application technology and development of the production of dermatological cosmetic active formulations. As everything developed focuses on practical feasibility, Meddrop BMT has optimized its patented TDA technology specifically for the aesthetic and dermatological applications of DERMADROP.

To date, the Meddrop BMT team has secured two national CTI research grants in Switzerland for the TDA project, won a grant from the European Union under the EU HORIZON 2020 funding programme for outstanding and innovative SMEs, and has also been awarded a contract for a prestigious federal German project (BMBF) from the “EuroTransBio” initiative. Meddrop BMT has transferred sound research results from the TDA project into the industrial development of a completely new form of application with a broad spectrum of uses.
